Frequently Asked Questions

What is the class attire ?

Ballet & Tap Combo Classes

Leotard and tights should be worn with pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Hair must be pulled back.  We recommend tap shoes with velcro straps for our preschool classes.

Ballet & Hip Hop Combo Classes Ages 4-11

Leotard and tights should be worn.   For ballet, pink ballet shoes and  for Hip Hop street shoes (sneakers) are required.  Dancers may bring shorts, leggings, etc. to slip on for that portion of class.  Hair must be pulled back.

Contemporary/Hip Hop Combo Classes ages 11+

A fitted tank top, t-shirt or leotard should be worn with tights, leggings or shorts.  Tights should be convertible (these have a small hole in the bottom so they may be pulled up). Dancers will need dance paws and street shoes (sneakers).   Hair must be pulled back.

Can I watch my dancer during class?

As of May 2022 we do not have a waiting area and parents are not permitted to stay during class as it is a distraction to the dancers.  It is our hope that we will be able to add a small waiting area in the near future that will give parents the option to stay during class.  Parents will be permitted to join class during our watch week (October 3-7) to see what their dancer has been working on.

Does my dancer need to be potty trained?

Yes, any dancer should be potty trained and able to go to the bathroom unassisted.  We encourage our parents of young dancers to take them to the bathroom before class.

What is the cancellation policy?

To withdraw from a class cancellation must be received in writing with 30 days notice.  All recital and costume fees are non-refundable.
